Mustafa Malik worked for more than three decades as a reporter, editor, and columnist for U.S. newspapers.
Throughout the years, he wrote op-eds and commentaries on international affairs for the Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, Boston Globe, Philadelphia Inquirer, and other newspapers.
He also conducted fieldwork as a journalism fellow for the German Marshall Fund of the United States and a research associate for the University of Chicago Middle East Center. His field research spanned three European countries, four Arab countries, Israel, and Turkey, and focused on U.S. foreign policy options.
Malik lives alternately in Maryland and Bangladesh.
